Work and Play in Tandem is an MFA Thesis project developed to alleviate stress, build connections, and emphasize on movement at the workplace.
The see-saw pivot as a bench
Conventional office furniture is static, thus, contributing to the many health issues humans are plagued with - spinal compression, joint problems, and the list goes on. Work and Play in Tandem combines the neuroscience of play, play theory, and sustainability through emotional connections. The project is named after the first product, the see-saw, Tandem.
Tandem
The see-saw is a classic symbol of collaboration and teamwork. It needs two people to work. Re-imagined it to be more workplace appropriate which can also be flipped to become a very comfortable bench.
